STATE OF HOCKEY
The 2025-2026 Massachusetts prep hockey season is in the books. Fifty-one 2010-born players tracked across 23 schools. 577 combined points. Two club teams that went to USA Hockey Nationals. And now, it's time to name the best of the best.
State of Hockey is proud to announce the All-Massachusetts 2010 Prep Hockey 1st Team and 2nd Team for the 2025-2026 season. Selections were weighted by USA Hockey National 15 Team selection (highest priority), total prep points production, and club team ranking per MyHockeyRankings.com.
The 1st Team is dominated by USA National Team selections - 14 of 15 players earned that distinction. The lone exception? Sam Fishbone, who finished as the top-scoring defenseman in the entire 2010 class with 29 points. You don't leave the leading scorer on the blueline off the 1st Team.

Selection Criteria
1. USA Hockey National 15 Team Selection — The highest individual achievement for a 2010-born American player. National Team members received top priority in the selection process.
2. Total Prep Points (G+A) — Combined goals and assists from the 2025-2026 Massachusetts prep hockey season. Only prep school production was considered; MIAA stats were not included.
3. Club Team Ranking — Per MyHockeyRankings.com, the player's 2025 half-season club team ranking among Massachusetts 15U AAA programs.
4. Eye Test — Intangibles, playoff performance, and impact beyond the stat sheet. Brayden Erickson's USA Hockey Nationals performance and Drew Short's NEPSAC Championship run were factors in their selections.
