STATE OF HOCKEY
The results from the April 11 CCM Performance Open Tryout are in. 76 players — 44 forwards, 24 defensemen, and 8 goalies — have been selected to the 2026 Boys CCM High Performance Festival, scheduled for May 8-10 at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro, MA.
Of those 76, 32 are Massachusetts prep hockey players tracked by State of Hockey — 21 forwards, 10 defensemen, and 1 goalie. These are kids who spent the 2025-2026 season competing at the highest level of Massachusetts prep hockey, and now they're one step closer to the USA Boys National 16 Team.
USA Hockey Pipeline — 2026
The Festival is the next filter. From 76 players, USA Hockey will cut to a Final 40 on May 16-17. From there, the National 16 Team roster will be assembled. For these 33 prep players, the prep season built the foundation — now the pipeline decides who rises.
