The Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League released its final Central Scouting Report on US-based players this week, ahead of the 2026 QMJHL Draft on June 5 and 6 at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax. The list ranks players in four tiers: A (projected Rounds 1–2), B (Rounds 3–5), C (Rounds 6–8), and E (draft eligible, unranked).

Thirty-eight Massachusetts 2010-born prep players appear on the list.

The QMJHL draft is one of three major junior pathways available to North American 15- and 16-year-olds, alongside the USHL Phase I Draft (which took place May 4–5) and the OHL Priority Selection. For most Mass prep families, the Q is a less-traveled road than the USHL or NCAA route β€” but a CSR ranking is a meaningful third-party scouting evaluation regardless of whether a player ultimately ends up on a Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, or PEI roster.

The list is heavy on the usual prep powers. Belmont Hill leads all schools with six players on the CSR list, followed by Master's Academy International, St. Sebastian's, and Milton Academy.

Lee and Queally are the lone Massachusetts selections to the 2026 USA NTDP. Their inclusion in Tier A reflects the QMJHL's evaluation of their talent β€” NTDP commits historically pursue the NCAA route rather than playing in the Q.
