The 2026 QMJHL Draft is complete. Twelve rounds. 216 picks. The board ran from Friday afternoon at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax through Saturday's later rounds, and when it was over, 23 Massachusetts prep 2010s in our coverage had been selected by Q teams — better than 60 percent of the 38 ranked on the league's final Central Scouting Report.

Belmont Hill led all schools with five players picked. St. Sebastian's added four. Master's Academy International and Rivers each landed three. Halifax, Rimouski, and Drummondville each took three Mass prep kids on home soil and from across the Mass prep landscape.

Sam Lee (Moncton) and Jack Queally (Halifax) — the only two Massachusetts players named to the 2026 USA National Team Development Program — both came off the board early. Both are NTDP commits and historically pursue the NCAA route, but their selection in the Q's top two rounds reflects how the league valued their underlying talent.

Four of the 23 are unlikely to suit up in the Q this fall. Lee (Moncton) and Queally (Halifax) are committed to the USA NTDP. Logan Cotter (St. Mark's, drafted by Newfoundland) is bound for the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL, and Blake Wilichoski (Milton Academy, drafted by Chicoutimi) was tendered by the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the USHL. All four were Q-eligible and ranked accordingly — the league's evaluation of their talent doesn't change because they're following different developmental paths.

The 2026 QMJHL Draft was held June 5–6 at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax and spanned twelve rounds and 216 selections. The complete board — including the 15 Mass prep 2010s on the CSR list who were not selected, and the 21 in State of Hockey's coverage who were not on the CSR list at all — is available at the QMJHL Draft 2026 reference page. Players not selected at the Q draft remain eligible for the USHL and the NCAA pathway.
